Restrict access to your site or parts of it so that only the users that belong to your Realm can access it.

Realms are a grouping of users with similar features that are governed by the same configuration. Realms are especially useful when you have different groupings for sites within the same account that are not directly related, or to have a test site with test users without affecting productive user grouping.

Each realm has its own login, registration, integrations, forms, segments, and messaging settings. You should be aware that when creating any of these elements in a realm, it will only affect users of that realm and will have no effect on users of another realm.

The only prerequisite for a private site is having a Realm from the Customers module.

To create a Realm, follow these steps:

  1. In Modyo Platform, in the side menu, expand Customers, and select Realms.

  2. Click + New Realm.

  3. Type the name and identifier and click Create.

To activate a private site, follow these steps:

  1. From the main menu, expand Channels, and click Sites.

  2. Click your site.

  3. Expand Site configuration and click General.

  4. In the Danger Zone section, click Change Realm and select your Realm.

  5. When you select a Realm, the Privacy section activates and you can now click in the private site option.
